1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using IELTS AI Writing Evaluator ("Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

IELTS AI Writing Evaluator is an AI-powered tool that evaluates IELTS Writing Task 1 and Task 2 essays against the official IELTS band descriptors. The Service provides estimated band scores, detailed feedback, and (for Pro subscribers) AI-rewritten model answers.

3. Accounts & Registration

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service.
• You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage quotas.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription Plans & Payments

• Free plan: 1 evaluation per week at no charge.
• Basic plan (₹2,399/month): 10 evaluations per month with detailed feedback.
• Pro plan (₹6,499/month): Unlimited evaluations plus AI Band 8+ rewrite.
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card details.
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused evaluations, except where required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Submit content that is abusive, offensive, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or access our AI models or prompts through automated means.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the output of the Service without our written permission.
• Use the Service to generate or distribute spam or misleading content.

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of the essays you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it through our AI system solely to provide the Service to you.
• The Service, including its design, code, AI prompts, and brand, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
• AI-generated feedback and rewrites are provided to you for personal use only.

8. Advertising

Free-tier users may see advertisements served by Google AdSense. We do not control the content of these advertisements. By using the free tier, you consent to the display of such ads. Paid subscribers may receive an ad-free experience.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
• We are not responsible for any IELTS exam outcomes, whether or not you used our Service.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or temporary suspension of the Service. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime or service interruptions.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
